Sagittarius Full Moon 2025

By Marie Satori

Sagittarius Full Moon June 11, 2025, at 3:43 AM EDT

EDIT:  When I first posted the horoscopes, I wrote them as if Mars was in Aries. Mars is actually in Leo. I was focused on the Mars–Eris dynamic. I’m dyslexic, and when I wrote the horoscopes, my mind merged Eris as Aries, and mistakes happened. When I'm stressed, I more often swap thoughts/words. W/ my mom in the hospital, the stress has made my dyslexia go into overdrive. I’ve since corrected and rewritten the horoscopes.

TL;DR: This Full Moon confronts the stories we’ve outgrown. It’s about truth, direction, and the beliefs shaping our choices. Axis: Gemini (facts, info) vs. Sagittarius (wisdom, big picture). What do you know vs. what do you believe?

Jump to Horoscopes

The Full Moon in Sagittarius is a confrontation with the truth, your truth, the one you’ve been circling like a fire you weren’t ready to touch. Sagittarius, ever the archer, is the adventurous seeker, the one who redraws maps when the old ones lead to dead ends. When the Moon is full in this fire sign, it illuminates the places where we’ve outgrown our own narratives, especially when the story no longer fits or makes sense.

This lunation is the axis of Gemini and Sagittarius. The tension between information and insight. It pits facts against faith, data against belief, local against global. If Gemini asks, “What do I know right now?” Sagittarius replies, “But what does it mean in the bigger picture?”

The signs Gemini and Sagittarius represent different methods of absorbing information and gaining an understanding of the world. The Gemini/Sagittarius polarity is associated with learning, collecting, and assimilating information. As Sagittarius observes the big picture, the sandbox Gemini focuses on the details that make up that picture, the grains of sand. In both cases, the objective is the same: to find the truth. The Gemini Sun collects information. The Sagittarius Moon questions meaning. And when they oppose each other, as they do now, we’re pressed to answer a core question: What do you still claim to believe, and does your life reflect that belief?

In astrology, Gemini & Sagittarius represent the Third House of communication and the Ninth House of truth, forming an axis of the mind. Through this axis, you gain a clearer perspective on your life purpose and a deeper understanding of it. During this Full Moon, we have the chance to reflect on our soul's journey and story, asking ourselves, "What story do I want to tell about my life?" Now’s the time to reclaim authorship. To speak the truth you've been editing out. To let go of the limiting narratives that shrink your potential. This is about choosing. Choosing meaning. Choosing direction. Choosing yourself. Use this Full Moon to release the limiting stories you tell yourself, making way for great spiritual and mental expansion.

Mars & Eris

There are two instigators active during the full moon: Mars and Eris. Eris, the goddess of discord, exile, and uncompromising truth is active. Wherever you’ve been biting your tongue, shrinking your needs, or tolerating dysfunction, Eris applies pressure. If something falls apart now, it likely needed to. Don’t rush to fix what should be buried.

Mars in Leo and the energy is raw, unfiltered. With Eris also present, that energy might feel explosive. You may feel the urge to quit, confront, escape, or sever. Don’t suppress the impulse. But don’t let it run you, either. Mars is a blade. In the right hands, it clears a path. In the wrong ones, it cut ties to the lifeline you still need. If you feel restless, don’t numb it. Move. Walk. Stretch. Create. Speak. If you feel angry, trace it to the truth underneath. Don’t waste it on someone who’s just a mirror.

Chiron

Another voice in the room is Chiron, the wounded healer. In Aries, Chiron speaks through identity: who you are, who you used to be, and who you were told you had to become in order to survive. Under this Full Moon, you may feel old insecurities surface like muscle memory. Wounds around visibility, rejection, and belonging may come back into focus.

This lunation is about recognizing how far you’ve come, even when the road didn’t make sense while you were walking it. For those who don’t typically claim space, this is a powerful invitation: you get to be proud of yourself. You get to be seen.

The Full Moon squares the Pisces North Node and Pisces Ascendant. This is when future paths feel spiritual, intuitive, and deeply unstructured. Maybe acquaintances are asking questions you can’t answer. Maybe you’re wondering how your growth translates into actual purpose. But just because you don’t know the next chapter yet doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate the one you just finished.

This Full Moon is the recognition that something already ended, and your body, your heart, and your belief system are finally catching up.

Grand Cross

This Sagittarius Full Moon forms a Grand Cross with the Sun in Gemini and the lunar nodes in Pisces and Virgo. A crossroad. A clash of perspectives. Mutable signs demand movement. If something feels chaotic right now, it’s because a shift is overdue.

The Moon trines Mars in Leo and Chiron in Aries, forming a Grand Fire Trine. There’s heat. There’s motion. The courage to choose differently lives here. What’s been stuck starts to move. What’s been suppressed finds its voice. The challenge is real, but so is the momentum.

Aspects

This Sagittarius Full Moon squares the lunar nodes and opposes the Sun in Gemini, forming a mutable Grand Cross. It’s a moment of decision. Something needs to shift.

The Moon also forms a Grand Fire Trine with Mars and Chiron. Fueling healing, courage, and creative momentum. What’s been waiting to move, moves.

Jupiter enters Cancer just before the Full Moon and conjoins Mercury. They both square Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Our ideas and visions are being challenged to mature. It's not enough to dream, we have to do the work.

Jupiter and the Moon are in mutual reception. Their energies reinforce each other. Emotional truth is amplified.

Chiron and Eris in Aries brings up the wound of identity, and the ways you’ve abandoned your instincts to be accepted..

Mercury sextiles Venus. We find the words. Affection and clarity move more freely.

But Venus squares Pluto, exposing deeper tensions in our relationships and finances.

And Uranus squares Mars, adding fire to the pressure. Restless energy. A refusal to stay stuck.

Sagittarius Full Moon Horoscopes

Aries & Aries Rising

This Full Moon forms a Grand Cross between the parts of your life that deal with your mindset, your beliefs, your daily responsibilities, and your inner world. It’s hard to focus when everything feels loud. But this isn’t about doing more, it’s about aligning what you do with what you believe. The Grand Fire Trine activates your confidence, your creativity, and your long-term growth. Speak with purpose. Take up space.

The Sagittarius Full Moon lands in your ninth house. You’re being asked to stop playing it small when it comes to what you believe and where you're headed. Mars in Leo fuels courage, but action without intention leads to chaos. Eris pushes on every place you've gone silent just to keep the peace. However, action without intention is just chaos. Chiron pulls up old fears around being too loud, too direct, too much. But too much for who? Saturn in Aries is moving through your first house, quietly reshaping your sense of identity. Let this be a course correction, not a collapse.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

This Sagittarius Full Moon forms a Grand Cross between your second, eighth, fifth, and eleventh houses. This brings tension around how you give, how you receive, and who you share your energy with. If it feels like too much, it probably is. You’re being asked to reassess where your time, money, and emotional effort are going. The Grand Fire Trine moves through your fourth, eighth, and twelfth houses. Healing happens behind closed doors, and clarity begins when you stop pretending you’re fine.

The Full Moon lands in your eighth house, where your deepest entanglements live, emotional, financial, energetic. The Sun in your second house asks: are you giving from overflow or obligation? Eris in this hidden space, awaken what you've buried, anger you weren’t allowed to feel, grief you never had time to name, instincts you learned to doubt to survive. Chiron points to past betrayals that made you self-protect first, connect second. This lunation brings an opportunity to release what no longer feel mutual and to trust your ability to rebuild from a stronger emotional foundation. You deserve more than survival. Saturn in Aries is asking you to look at the hidden patterns shaping your choices. Over the next six months, you’ll release more than you hold. Let what ends make space for what heals.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

This Grand Cross stretches across your self-image, your relationships, your home life, and your public roles. The tension is real, and so is the potential for realignment. The Grand Fire Trine energizes your voice, your friendships, and your ability to connect authentically. Say the thing. Choose the people who meet you where you’re at.

The Full Moon lights up your seventh house, bringing clarity to close partnerships, commitments, and your role in them. The opposition from the Sun in your sign highlights the balance between your needs and the needs of others. The Sun puts the focus back on you. Mars in Leo fuels your voice and demands honesty. Eris may trigger tensions where you’ve been overlooked or undervalued socially. Chiron brings up that old ache of not being chosen, of having to earn your seat at the table, and how this might still influence who you trust. This lunation gives you the perspective to name what feels unbalanced. Saturn in Aries moves through your eleventh house too, asking for integrity in your long-term goals and the company you keep. Over the next six months, your connections will either deepen through shared purpose, or dissolve to make space for alignment.

Cancer & Cancer Rising

This Grand Cross activates your physical health, your spiritual health, your voice, and your worldview. If you're burned out or scattered, it's not just in your head, your entire system is asking for recalibration. The Grand Fire Trine lights up your values, your work, and your ambition. You’re allowed to want more, and you’re capable.

The Full Moon activates your sixth house. You’re exhausted, and not just physically. You’ve been pushing through anyway. Mars in Leo makes you want results, but the Sun in your twelfth house asks for rest. Eris makes every time you ignore your needs feel like a betrayal. Chiron reveals how your drive to be dependable was built in the aftermath of being left to figure it out alone. This lunation invites you to pause and reevaluate what’s sustainable. Mars makes you push harder. Saturn in Aries moves through your tenth house too, helping you build a reputation based on truth, not performance. Over the next six months, you’re redefining what success feels like, not what it looks like.

Leo & Leo Rising

This Grand Cross lands across your creativity, your community, your finances, and your shared resources. You’re being asked to choose: give your energy to what fuels you, or keep feeding what keeps you depleted. The Grand Fire Trine is lit in your sign, your joy, your growth, your creative power. This is your green light. Use it.

The Full Moon lights up your fifth house of creativity, romance, and personal expression. The opposition from the Sun in your eleventh house highlights the tension between what you want for yourself and what others expect from you. Mars in your sign gives you the drive to reclaim it. Eris may bring frustration around how often you’ve felt your ideas were too much or too far-reaching. Chiron here suggests an old wound around feeling out of place in academic, spiritual, or philosophical spaces. This lunation asks you to reclaim joy without explanation. Saturn in Aries is asking you to commit to your growth, not just fantasize about it. The next six months demand that you take your joy seriously. Stop downplaying what lights you up.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

This Grand Cross touches your home, your career, your identity, and your relationships. That’s everything. And it’s no wonder you feel stretched. But this is less about fixing what’s broken and more about finally naming what’s true. The Grand Fire Trine flows through your hidden emotions, your foundations, and your capacity to transform. Let your truth rise.

The Full Moon activates your fourth house of home, family, and emotional foundation. The opposition from the Sun in your tenth house brings up the tension between your private world and public life. Mars in Leo brings up feelings you’ve been stuffing down. Eris in your eighth house make it harder to ignore power dynamics, unspoken resentments and the price of emotional labor. Chiron shows you where needing help made you feel exposed or punished. This lunation reminds you that strength doesn't means doing it all alone. Saturn in Aries is moving through your shadows, stripping away what was built for survival but no longer serves your growth. Over the next six months, create stability that supports who you are now, not who you had to be. You don’t owe anyone the perfect the narrative.

Libra & Libra Rising

The Grand Cross challenges your thoughts, your beliefs, your work-life balance, and your ability to rest. Your nervous system isn’t meant to carry this much at once. The Grand Fire Trine activates your relationships, your community, and your communication. Say the thing that’s been living in your chest.

The Full Moon shines a light on your third house of communication, perception, and mindset. Opposing the Sun in your ninth, it pushes you to question the stories you’ve been telling, about yourself, your life, and what’s possible. While, Mars in Leo charges your voice with power. Eris challenges the version of you that plays nice to stay liked. Chiron in your seventh house shows the wounds around being silenced, dismissed, or chosen last. This lunation asks you to stop diluting your truth to make others comfortable. In the months ahead, your voice becomes a boundary. Use it.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

This Grand Cross lands across your income, your debts, your pleasure, and your obligations to others. If your energy feels scarce, this is why. The Grand Fire Trine activates your work, your ambitions, and your value system. You don’t need to prove you’re worthy. You need to stop giving more than you’ve got.

The Full Moon lights up your second house of money, worth, and what you truly value. Opposite the Sun in your eighth, this lunation stirs up questions around shared resources, energetic entanglements, and the debts (emotional or financial) you’ve carried too long. Mars in Leo intensifies pressure at work. While Eris reminds you of the hidden toll of saying yes too often, charging too little, or tying your value to constant output. Chiron here speaks to the wound of needing to prove you’re useful to be loved. Saturn in Aries calls for discipline, not in service to others, but in service to your own well-being. Over the next six months, let value be something you live, not just something you chase. Live like you know yours.

This Grand Cross pulls on your identity, your relationships, your private life, and your public image. Who you are, how you're seen, and what you need, it’s all shifting. The Grand Fire Trine lights up your voice, your joy, and your growth. Don’t wait for things to calm down. Move with the fire.

The Full Moon in your first house shines a light on your identity, your presence, and the pieces of yourself you've outgrown. Across the sky, the Sun in your seventh house of relationships asks: who are you when you're not performing for approval? Mars in Leo dares you to want more and go after it. Eris challenges the part of you that stays small to be accepted. Chiron surfaces the wounds around being “too much.” Too loud, too soft, too honest, too you. This lunation invites you to witness yourself without apology. With Saturn in your fifth house, you’re being called to commit to your own light. Over the next six months, shape a life that reflects your truth, not a version edited for someone else’s comfort.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

This Grand Cross activates your subconscious, your daily life, your thoughts, and your beliefs. Something is trying to break through, if only you’d stop drowning it out with productivity. The Grand Fire Trine stirs your emotional body, your inner world, and your sense of purpose. You’re not here to hold it all in. Let it move.

The Full Moon lights up your twelfth house of solitude, rest, and spiritual repair. Rest isn’t optional. Silence isn’t weakness. The Sun in your sixth house keeps the to-do list growing, but your soul needs time to breathe. Mars in Leo lights up the emotional intensity in your home life. Eris surfaces the unresolved tension buried in your foundation. Chiron in the fourth suggests that your definition of home may still be entangled with old pain. This lunation reminds you that slowing down is not the same as losing ground. Saturn in Aries travels your fourth house too, helping you rebuild your inner sense of safety. Over the next six months, emotional labor will no longer be your job description.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

This Grand Cross lands across your joy, your friendships, your income, and your shared resources. Who and what you’re investing in needs a review. The Grand Fire Trine lights up your voice, your connections, and your sense of self. Speak with conviction. Move toward what’s real.

The Full Moon illuminates your eleventh house of community, collaboration, and the future you’re building. Opposite the Sun in your fifth house, it asks you not to lose your spark trying to belong. Mars in Leo brings intensity to your relationships, challenging you to show up with honesty or walk away. Chiron and Eris press on the fear that you’ll never fully be understood. That fear costs more than it protects. With Saturn in your fifth house, you’re being called to commit to your own light. Over the next six months, your future won’t be about compromise.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

This Grand Cross brings pressure to how you're showing up at home, in your work, in your relationships, and in your identity. It's not here to break you, it's here to reveal what’s real. The Grand Fire Trine activates your resources, your health, and your sense of purpose. This isn’t about chasing titles or external approval. This is about aligning your life with what actually matters to you.

The Full Moon lights up your tenth house, putting your career, public role, and responsibilities into focus. Opposite the Sun in your fourth house, it draws attention to the tension between how you're seen and how you actually feel at home with yourself. Mars in Leo pushes your work pace, but Uranus and Chiron remind you that burnout isn’t a badge of honor. Eris calls out the ways you’ve accepted too little in exchange for too much of yourself. This lunation highlights the tension between where you've been and where you’re meant to go. Saturn in Aries is moving through your second house, helping you stabilize your worth, not just in numbers, but in choices. Over the next six months, you’ll take your power back one boundary at a time.
